NL and AL Divisions Announced!
So...yeah, I don't have much of anything to update. I started confirmation tonight, but past that, nothing of substance has happened. My ankle is still fragged up and the Pack lost again. However, I did manage to complete one Major Project. I've been working on a new and easy way to keep track of races for playoff spots in Major League Baseball. I believe I now have the answer. Every day from now on, I'm going to post the "National League Division" and "American League Division" standings. One should be sure to read the subheading on the division listing to understand exactly how many teams make the playoffs.
One note about the divisions, the E# is the combined number of either wins by the leading team or losses by the trailing team it will take to eliminate the trailing team. The number is calculated by taking the number of wins from the leading team and adding those to the number of losses from the losing team. Then, that number is subtracted from 163 to get the elimination number. One other thing, the games back total is calculated back from the team in first place IN THE NL or AL Division. The Elimination number, however, is calculated based on a team's elimination from the playoffs instead of Division lead. In other words, it's calculated from the wins of the team with the worst record in the NL or AL division that will still make the playoffs. Again, be sure to read the subheading under each division to make sure you fully understand.
