Hey! What's up? My name is Michael, I got your LJ from a friend of mine, I saw your Icon and you must really love baby seals, i think that's awesome.

I actually am the president and founder of this animal rights organization called PPAW People for the Protection of Animal Welfare and we are having a protest on the 30th [next saturday] from 12-2 at the red lobster on university drive in Coral Springs.

The reason why we will be there is to protect the exact seals you love so much, I actually think the picture you have is one of our campaign pictures.

We are protesting Red Lobster, because this year alone 365,000 baby seals were skinned ALIVE, beaten, and killed for their furs. We want this cruelty to stop. Red Lobster doesn't buy or sell any seal products however there is a HUGE boycott of Canadian seafood [Canada is where the Seal hunt is taking place] Celebrities such as Martin Sheen, Elizabeth Berkley, and Pam Anderson are just a few who are asking people to stop eating at Red Lobster because they are the number 1 seafood chain in the country and they are still purchasing Canadian Seafood, if they would stop and tell Canada they won't buy while seal pups die, Canada would have NO other choice than to end the seal hunt for GOOD, that's how much money red lobster pumps into Canadia.

So I think it's great you like the seals and it's an awesome thing, but do you think you can come to our protest, bring as many people as you'd like, it's fun, the news will be there and everything, the seals need you, for any more information contact me at ContactPPAW@aol.com.
