Oh man, it's been a while since I last used this thing. Odds are good that I will find what little ability I have to blog have completely atrophitised (OH GOD I STILL CAN'T SPELL).
So perhaps the most important question is why the sudden increase in blogging (I am insisting on using the word blogging as many times in this blogging post as I can, becuase the word blogging is high-larious.) Well, y'see, I am now a working man. But Tom, you say, with a hint of wonder, surely if you are a working man you would have LESS time for blogging? But as a matter of fact, this would be incorrect. Thanks to a series of wonderful blunders and beauracratic mistakes, they have four people doing a job that only requires one and a half people. (Man, the business world is messy). Anyhoo, this has resulted in me having a job which consists of me spending a good 4 or 5 hours messing around on the internet. The problem, of course, is that I don't actually have 4 or 5 hours of internet to read. I mean, I read a lot (A LOT) of political websites, but even those only take an hour or so. And while Facebook has some definite advantages vis a vis time-wastin', I figure it doesn't quite match up to blogging.
So yeah, I guess that is the big thing about what's new with me. I'm working in the business world, like some sort of schmuck. It's not so bad, really. And when I say not so bad, I mean it's bad but not so bad that the money doesn't totally make up for it. I was on the verge of running out of money, and that's never much fun. What would I use to buy comics and books? Also Wii's! I bought a Wii, and I'm sure it was a huge waste of money since I'm not a big enough of a gamer to really make it worth while, but dammit it felt good to be able to waste that much money in one go. And more importantly, soon I will buy guitar hero! And that'll be fun, and by fun I mean completely sucking up my life with my obssesiveness. I have a feeling that Guitar Hero could be the type of game where I will not be able to close my eyes without seeing a virtual fretboard in front of me.
Well, I think I've blogged enough for today. I might try and start doing this all over again, more as a mighty force against boredom that any other real reason. I wonder whether I can still remember how to put things in italics and hyperlink things...?
