I am miserable.
Just a quick update...
I am sick with bronchitis. But I'm too new to my job so I can't call in sick without getting in trouble. I left early today with permission from my supervisor and manager but I still think I'm getting some kind of disciplinary action. I might have to call in tomorrow anyways. I am in no condition to be working. I went in today and it was pouring down rain, which totally helped my illness, and yesterday I had to do the work of two people, non stop, all day long because we were short-handed. Fuckin' bullshit. I hate the stupid rules at this place. So counter productive. But anyways.
Humans has the drum tracks and I believe some guitar tracks for about half of the album due out in the spring, hopefully. We're recording with Joe from The Evening Muse at his place. He's got a pretty sweet little set up in there, really seems to know what he's doing. I'll have my own input of course but I think he's got a lot of knowledge and experience. Should be good. You know I won't settle for less.
I've got over two grand in the bank for a place with Justin and Kevin so hopefully we'll be out on our own soon. I really want to get out. I just wish it was easier. I don't even think Kevin has enough money but he really needs to see how dire this is for Justin and especially myself. He has a pretty good home life I think, as does Justin. Not that I don't but it's just so messed up in so many ways that my need for independence is growing everyday and I need to quench that thirst. And I know Justin wants to establish himself as an individual for his own personal satisfaction. And plus, that's gonna be a bitchin' place to live! Finally getting to live the life we've all dreamed of.. oh to be free...
In other news, Humans has a show tonight that's located somewhere I'm not quite sure of. I just hope I feel well enough to perform decently. That's always a worry for me. Curse this sickness of mine. Curses.
