Apparently when I say mate I am being confrontive
MP - "Hi mate. Can I have our shirt back? Mate, I know you took it."
Awkward Man - "Oh, you know I have it..."
The awkward man with cane that he obviously doesn't need/use pulls the Marvel shirt out of his pants and hands over the shirt and the Trinity Blood hoodie that he had bundled up to make it look like his own.
MP - "I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
After a couple of moments of awkward man not leaving...
Awkward Man - "What's Jinx?"
MP - "It is a brand."
MP stalks awkward man until he finally makes his way for the door.

Note to all shoplifters: If you're obviously moving in a way that either you're shoving a shirt down your pants or doing something absolutely nasty to the shirt racks, the salesperson will notice.
