Seattle!
jaydedone reminds me that I sort of suck at regular updates.
I'm safely in Seattle. Have been since Saturday.
g00n and I started driving on Wednesday, a bit later than we meant to. So we got into Reno around 5am. Said hello to his parents, who subsequently left to Pebble Beach, leaving
g00n and I in the house. There was much sleep, a little football (I was a Packers fan again for
princessdiablo and they won!), and then off to the El Dorado Casino for the buffet. I think we ate a little too much, but we had fun playing with buttons and shiny lights (video poker) and playing games for stuffed animals at Circus Circus.
Friday started out ... interesting.
g00n came to me sick and managed to get me sick. But we pushed on like little troopers all the way to Portland. There, we stopped in to say hello to a group of his friends at the Horse Brass for the Drunkest Night of the Year. After a little while there, we skipped over to
netgecko's to crash.
What goes around, comes around.
g00n experienced the same type of illness that I had on Saturday morning. Yet, we are troopers! We continued on to Seattle, met up with Bekkah and
thetoken. The latter and I went back to the place that I'll be sharing with his wonderfulness and the awesome
straiph. A little unpacking, an adventure to acquire a hair dryer (blue with silver attachments and a retractable cord!), a much needed shower and off to game.
After game was a kick ass party and much hanging out with folks. It was lots of fun. Spent some quality time with
amari at the party, on Sunday, and on Monday before seeing her off to Pittsburgh.
Tonight, dinner and skating with
spooktress,
malkiyah, and others. Yay!
