Species: Human with Lunarian blood
History: Usagi Tsukino was born to a normal, earth-born, human family and was just as normal (if not for her strange hairstyle, eating habits, and inability to be on time anywhere) as anyone else until shortly after her fourteenth birthday. It was then that she discovered a cat, whom she soon learned could speak, that told her of her destiny.
Usagi Tsukino became Sailor Moon, the fighter of love and justice, and the leader of the Sailor Senshi, a group of soldiers meant to protect (and find) the Moon Princess. One by one, Usagi found each soldier; first was Mercury (a genius who went by the name of Ami Mizuno), then was Mars (the fiery priestess Rei Hino), next was Jupiter (the brawny, but amazing cook, Makoto Kino), finally they found Venus (the up-beat, gorgeous Minako Aino).
They had yet to find the Moon Princess, or her Ginzuishou (a crystal the Dark Kingdom, their enemy, was looking for rather desperately), however they had come to the conclusion that the princess could be Minako Aino, or Sailor Venus. Of course, their conclusion couldn't have been any more wrong.
Usagi Tsukino, which they quickly found out after Mamoru Chiba (or Tuxedo Mask) was gravely injured to the point of death, was indeed the reincarnation of Her Highness Princess Serenity of the White Moon Kingdom, and that the Ginzuishou was nestled, resting, inside of her.
Mamoru Chiba, also the reincarnation of the earthen prince, Endymion and Princess Serenity's secret lover, was captured by the Dark Kingdom and brainwashed to do their bidding. This eventually led the soldiers and their princess to the Antarctic, the southern most point on the planet Earth to, not only find and save Mamoru Chiba, but to destroy the Dark Kingdom and keep them from destroying planet Earth.
The girls run into the Dark Kingdom's five strongest, and best youma, called the DD girls. It's five against five. Jupiter is the first to take them on, and she kills one before she's killed, then it's Mercury who also kills one before her own death, Venus also kills one before she, too, dies. Last, but not least, is Mars who takes on the last two. She kills one, and then kills the other before she finally dies.
This leaves the last soldier, Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino, Princess Serenity, to destroy Beryl and save the world and Mamoru. It doesn't take her long to find Beryl, after the coercing of her friends spirits that she's not alone. There she finds Mamoru, who attempts to kill her, but she heals him after a long, painful, one sided fight.
The Dark Kingdom Queen, Beryl, attempts to kill Usagi Tsukino, however, in the end Mamoru takes the hit and dies. Usagi, understanding her fate, goes to defeat Beryl. In defeating Beryl, and unleashing the full force of the Ginzuishou (which will cause death for the user), Usagi Tsukino dies on the snow.
Successful Captures: One.
Experiments (if applicable): - Experimentation regarding the Ginzuishou. The crystal appears to react to her emotions, granting her strange powers even when she's in her civilian form. Most common appears to be healing, however, during several experiments the crystal attempted to form a barrier to protect her. This will need to be retested in the future.
- The attempt to extract the crescent symbol from her forehead was a failure, and would only appear when her body was under an extreme amount of stress.
