[The clin- oh bitch no. He's going there himself now. He's got his flames right, he can totally makes it in time, right? Yeah. As soon as he sees this he's going to pick up a coat, get moving from wherever he was an go to intercept her. He, the whole time, thinks about ways he ought to bitch at her when the time comes.]

[And he happens to come across her by the time she's nearing the clinic. Probably around the same time that Raenef bears witness to this, actually. Probably a little before or at the same time as Al. Right now he doesn't realize it, because he starts to yell at her when she doubles over. Frankly, the words die in his throat after that as he hesitantly takes another step forward, trying to convince himself that he's brave enough or skilled enough to handle this]

[...Why won't his feet move? Something is paralyzing him because-

...And then it happens. Blood. Butterflies. ...A sea of images flies all over the place. Haruki stares at this image, wide-eyed. What? What the hell is that? There's no way that Usagi is that, right? That's not possible, isn't it? That's just- That can't he right, can it? No way. No way. He tries to disprove what just happens in his mind for a moment, staring blankly. He doesn't realize that as he stands here, a good few meters away, his knees buckle.]

What the hell was that? [He says that to no one in particular. He watches the butterflies fly away. He also probably catches the scene between Raenef and co, but he doesn't register it. He blinks once, then twice, then a third time before-] What... the hell- Stop joking. Oi. Stop it. That's not possible.

Stop screwing with me. [He goes to try to force himself to take a step again, but then realizes that he's on his knees. When did he get to his knees? He doesn't remember. What is he even looking at? Oh right, Usagi. Where's Usagi? There's just- there's that bloodbath and... what.

Now way. No way. No way.] Stop screwing with me. That's- [He goes to take a step again- no. No he needs to stand first, right? He struggles, but eventually gets on his feet. ...No way. No way. He tries to force his legs to take the next step, but he rapidly finds that he can't]

[And then, somehow, he finds himself taking a step backwards] ...What- ...That's- [...And then, another step backwards, his eyes wide. He feels an odd wetness on his face. He's not sure if it's water, sweat, tears, or blood, because he feels a dull ache on his head. Why is there an ache- oh. Oh there's a sea of black around him now, isn't there? The blackness that he come out of Usagi...

...He mutters "stop screwing with me" to himself one more time before flames burst into life all around his body via his pact with the Fire Spirit. the butterflies around him are incinerated before he blinks and...

Turns. He runs away from this scene completely]
