a little cold - desk up against a window, but a window UNDERNEATH A BIG WALKWAY. i was so excited to have a desk with a window, too... all i've seen out of this window is scaffolding and once, elusively, the tops of the easter bunny's tail during the egg hunt...
a little (too) introspective - i don't want to talk about it
a little surreal - this performer "from vegas" but from vegas by way of columbus junction, it seems, performed in the hallway during lunch, nearly impenetrably voiced sinatra tunes that would have made a lot more sense in an airport bar, but still wouldn't have been pleasant. huge sunglasses - why?
