I agree with margeaux... I feel like I've been neglecting livejournal, but honestly, I think it's just because nothing too interesting has been happening to me. I hit "rock bottom" financially a few weeks ago and have been scrounging and saving so I can catch up. Luckily it's working, but it wont be an overnight thing.
Last week I was sick most of the week... I think that a part of it is my lack of sleep, because of my new schedule at work. I have a very erratic sleep schedule, and I'm not sure i'm really allowing myself to get the rest that I need. So yeah, I've had the head cold, with headaches, congestion, and a killer sore throat. It's gotten better over the last few days but I still have problems breathing through my nose.
I honestly couldn't tell you what I've been doing with my time. A whole lot of nothing. Can't really do anything with no money hahahaha. Lots of TV... lots of internet...
OH... did most of you guys watch the debate last night!? It was pretty awesome. I watched "Countdown" after the debate and Keith Olberman had Joe Biden on the show and they talked about some of the key points... and maaan.... this was the first time I had ever really seen Biden talk and MAN, he's quite the badass. I mean, he's the "experienced old politician" that Obama needed as a VP but at the same time, the guy has a way with words that seems very fresh. He doesn't come off to me as someone who is as out of touch as McCain seems, or Kerry did in the past. I think that he was an excellent choice for the VP position and I can not WAIT until he tears Palin a new one next thurs for the VP debate!
--Edit-- In May 2008, Biden sharply criticized President George W. Bush for his speech to Israel's Knesset in which he suggested that some Democrats were acting in the same way some Western leaders did when they appeased Hitler in the runup to World War II. Biden stating that "This is bullshit. This is malarkey. This is outrageous. Outrageous for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, sit in the Knesset ... and make this kind of ridiculous statement." Biden later apologized for using the expletive. Biden further stated that "Since when does this administration think that if you sit down, you have to eliminate the word 'no' from your vocabulary?"
WHAT A BADASS.
