I've had a man in his 60s phone to tell me how in 1975 the Gardai nearly beat him to death and he never got an apology or compensation. He still suffers from horrendous PTSD.
Then I had a journalist from the Irish Daily Mail phone to ask me some questions. I fear I will be horrily misquoted in that paper tomorrow.
