The lost art of reading for pleasure

Having finished Lionel Shriver's 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' over Christmas, I realised just how little I've read for pleasure over the last 18 months. This is most unlike me and in need of rectification. This year I'm tasking myself to read at least one non-work related text a month. I'd like to read more than that but that one should always be possible as a base line. What about you? What about your reading?
