I did enjoy this. The fact that it was a 2 parter was a total surprise, and I couldn't believe the end had come when it did. I was all "Nooooo," at the TV.
I was a little worried to begin with, as some of the things that happened, made it seem to me, as if the Doctor was coming across as stupid or not that competent, of which I think I had left over feelings from last week. As if, the companion or others (in this case River on the flying the Tardis bit) would do the right thing, save the day, know what to do. But by the end the Doctor waving around his screwdriver with great abandon, so hopefully alarm averted. I know I called him "Pouty Baby" at one point, and then Amy called him Grumpy Face, and that tickled me.
I still can't figure out ANY of the potential River timeline, but maybe we're not supposed to? Or is my head just not up to it, lol.
Moment of glee: When Amy was being advanced on by the Angel the first time, she did this 'close one eye, open the other thing', so she wouldn't blink, and just microseconds before I was trying the exact same thing to see if it would work!

They seem to be meeting backwards of each other. At least, as far as we know. Though, there seem to be some inconsistencies, but, you know, wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.
