Broncos are 5-0! I'm ecstatic and exhausted. Hell of a game. I'm too wound up still to be coherent. I love this team, I love this coach. I am full of love. Except maybe not much for the uniforms, which are godawful toxic in action ( Read more... )

c'mon. it's still 34F downtown, with another hour till gametimes... WTF 8pm start time? On the upside, it could'a been worse... I hear they got a foot in ChyWyo, and Ogalalla... it's only 100 miles. But, I ain't complaining.

The super late starts are nuts. I feel bad for the Phillies fans who have to go tomorrow -- 10pm start? Seriously? They did this to the NL in 2007, too. It's rubbish, I say. But, tomorrow's game will apparently be an afternoon/early evening game, one way or the other.

I am glad you gave us Cutler and that you seem to like Orton. Just watch out. The neckbeard can come out at any time. THAT was what we were really trying to get rid of. It was like Book's hair let loose on Firefly. Frightening. Worse...people were starting to emulate that. It had to go.

I've been pretty happy with Orton. He's fit in this system really well. He got really dumped on by the press for things that just had nothing to do with him, I felt badly for him, but he didn't seem to ever let it bother him. He may not be pretty (not at all), but he's getting the job done and that's okay by me.

Oh, that's right, the Red Sox lost. I totally forgot about that. Rough Monday in NE. Ouch. Keep him calm and away from pointy objects?

And then the Bruins sucked it up on Monday!

Any guy who has an ENTIRE closet full of sports jerseys definitely needs to be kept away from pointy objects after this past weekend. Though at this point I mostly roll my eyes, find a book, and occasionally look up to see if he's done ranting yet.

The game didn't end until after 2 am here.
A good thing I fell asleep around 12:30am after the 6th inning!!!

I woke up around 2:30am as they were going over the end of the game.

I love those late night games on the western side of the country.
