What we're about and how to get started.
Hello and Welcome! We are a challenged driven Harry Potter fan fiction writing community focused on canon complimentary moments mentioned or implied but never seen in the books.
The idea: well we post two challenges on Monday, missing moments cited from the Harry Potter text and the idea of what we're looking for. Then to enter you simply post a link in to you www.fanfiction.net story as a comment. The challenge will be open until the following Monday at which point it will be closed and a new challenge will be given. The Monday after the challenge has closed we will post links to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners www.fanfiction.net stories and they will be added to a community containing only the winning entries.
Each challenge will have two categories where in places will be awarded. Under 1000 words and over 1000 words. Only the words in you story will count, quoted text from the book, lyrics to songs and authors notes will not be included in your count. No song fics will be considered if you insist on putting the lyrics to the song in the text, we won't even finish reading your fic.
There is no need to enter every week, although we would LOVE to have you on every challenge but if you can only do it now and then we're still very happy to have you.
For now we're focusing on Ron and Hermione but we will definately expand to other ships as our community grows. We are always interested in your feedback and all are welcome to joing our group the noobs and the experianced alike. So start writing!
