That was HORRID.
I just finished doing an impromptu presentation in my business class. I ended up with the topic "I don't like it when...".
The first minute was great. The class was laughing at all of the right places, I wasn't stumbling or anything...
But pretty much as soon as I hit the one minute mark, everything went downhill. I ran out of ideas; I had nothing to say. I spent the last minute, or at least the majority of it, "umm"-ing and "ahh"ing.
To make it worse, at the end of class, I had to re-live it all over again via videotape. Thankfully, only a 45 second clip was shown, so I was spared from the worst of it.
AND GUESS WHAT: I have to do another presentation next week. At least then it's a prepared presentation, with powerpoint and all that, so I can spend the weekend practicing.
