More Firefly Goodies!
I've been meaning to put up this link for a while. At the top of the page, it's got a much extended version of the series blooper reel, with a lot of content you won't find on the DVD release. It's cut up into four parts (to preserve bandwith on the hosting site) in Quicktime format.
It's also got streaming versions of the various episodes, for those heathens out there who haven't actually seen the show yet. Heathens, I say! Of course, you'll get much better quality and convenience by buying the DVD set... even if that means your money will go to the stinky network that cancelled the show in the first place. Ah well.
Also, if you haven't already found them, here's some instructions for finding two sweet easter eggs:
Adam Baldwin sings "The Ballad of Jayne"!
1. Put in disc 4 of the Firefly DVD set.
2. Go to the 'special features' section.
3. Move the cursor down until it's pointed at "Joss Whedon Sings the Firefly Theme"
4. Hit left on your remote's directional pad. The loopy graphic to the left of the group picture at the top center of the screen should highlight in yellow.
5. Hit enter.
6. Admire the cunning hat!
Freaky Fruity Oaty Bar Commercial Goodness!
1. Put in the Serenity DVD; it doesn't matter whether you have the wide screen or full screen version, this works for both.
2. Highlight the "Play" button on the screen.
3. Hit left on your remote's directional pad. The chevron on the middle right of the screen should highlight in red.
4. Hit enter.
5. After watching, try to get the damn jingle out of your head!
