Haibane Renmei
I just finished watching Haibane Renmei.
That was one of the most wonderful, touching stories.
I cried at the end. I'll admit it. I don't normally do that.
It didn't get too pretentious and it stayed simple... though the message, whatever you personally want to get from the show, was powerful nonetheless (I'm not going to presume to know exactly what the message was supposed to be, but I will say it did affect me).
It was lovely... beautiful.
I'll just leave it at that.
