No me ha dejado:SEVILLA

La Catedral seen from Plaza Virgen de los Reyes

Candles and flowers on one of the pasos during Semana Santa (Holy Week). I'm sure this is one of the Virgenes (Virgin Mary... each brotherhood had their own Virgin the two most famous being La Esperanza de Triana and La Macarena.

El Ayuntamiento de Sevilla (town hall of Seville)

Las murallas de Sevilla that can be found in el barrio de la Macarena (neighborhood of the Macarena). Remember folks, Sevilla was around way before the song.

Sign for la Plaza del Triunfo with the symbol of Sevilla.<3 NO8DO! Shortened form of "No me ha dejado" ("She hasn't left me"). The motto refers to the war between Alfonso X and his son. Sevilla stuck with the king and thus the motto "She hasn't left me".

One of the narrow streets in Santa Cruz. I walked down this street nearly every morning.;;

Flowers on Paseo de las Delicias, a street right alongside the Guadalquivir, the river that runs through Sevilla.

The street Garcia de Vinuesa. It intersects with Avenida de la Constitución which runs between Puerta de Jeréz to la Plaza Nueva. El Horno de San Buenaventura is found on this street. I highly recommend it if only for the palmeras de yema (just don't think too much about what yema is...). There's also a really stinky fried fish shop here, too by Jimios.

One of the buildings for la Universidad de Sevilla. This is one of the sites for the opera Carmen by Bizet.^^ It used to be the cigarette factory.: 9

Córdoba

The countryside in Córdoba.

People dressed in their Sunday best for Cruces.; )

Granada

La Alhambra as seen from el Mirador de San Nicolás

Arcos de la Frontera

One of the pueblos blancos (white towns) of Andalucía (Andalusia, southern Spain).

Barcelona

Stained glass in la Sagrada Familia by Gaudí (well, the initial plans).

Just some icons of my photos from Spain... I'm getting all nostalgic and a bit teary eyed thinking about it.;;
