Hi, would you be interested in becoming a co-mod at annamay_daily? :) The reason I'm asking is that I'm planning to go on an extended semi-hiatus due to personal problems. I don't want the community to suffer because of this. I'll still be around, hence the hiatus being a semi-hiatus. Please let me know if you're interested. I completely understand if you decide to decline the offer. Thank you for your time.
Thanks so much! Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. :) BTW, I took pictures at the AMW event, but I won't be posting them until October--I'm studying for my exams.
- I find a majority of my pictures off of eBay. I do a search for Anna May Wong and save any pictures I haven't seen before. Then I do a search for Anna Mae Wong. It doesn't happen very often, but you can find a rare picture under the "misspelling" of her name. You will come across protected images that will not allow you right click and save the pictures. I've found a way around this which is to take screencaps of the page. (But you don't have to worry about the screencapping part, I'll take care of that.) And I wouldn't recommend searching for all the movies she's been in. It's incredibly time consuming. Not a lot of relevant results come up when you do search for them.
- If I'm busy or if I forget to check eBay one week, I go to Fanpix.net or Who's Dated Who. They're pretty good at uploading pictures that I missed. But not everything from eBay gets

Seereth - I found you! Er. No, you don´t know me, so I apologize in advance in case I sound odd (I hope just odd, not creepy). The reason why I´m posting is that I read a lot of your fanfiction and really really really liked it. And thought that it was just my luck that you seemed to have poofed completely. So imagine my joy when I found your alternative identity! So. Where´s the rest of your fanfiction? And. You seem to have a cool taste in movies too. I just skipped through your page and saw Atom Egoyan and Brick mentioned, and that is not nothing. So I would very much like to be friends if that is fine with you. That is all, actually. :) (I think.)
I don't write or read fanfiction anymore - well, except for Yuletide - and I'm not really in fandom either, so anything you've found already is all you're going to find pretty much. I don't mind friending you back, but I wouldn't like you to get a false impression of what my journal will contain.
Hello! I found you over at caitiedidit's journal, and I quite enjoyed our discussion of Bollywood movies (heh, even though I sort of forgot to reply to your last comment . . . but I do have a reply saved in Notepad somewhere on my desktop)! Anyway, you're the first person I've met who seems to enjoy Bollywood movies and I think we'll have loads of interesting discussions--especially since you seem to hate SRK and I adore him, and I'm not a huge fan of Saif Ali Khan, whereas you are, hahaha! XD So this should be fun! Friends?
(Also, yay Dovie? We seem to have a few friends in common!)
Oh, hey! Yeah, I'd love to friend you. (For the record, I don't hate SRK! I just find him easy to make fun of... And I don't love him as much as Saif, but that probably is a good think for SRK, honestly.) Anyway, this should be fun. :)
Yeah, I was on the Dove! It's been a while since I did anything seriously fandom-y for, um, anything. I feel kind of bad about that.
Hahaha, agreed, SRK has waaay too many fangirls .... which could be almost creepy since he's 45, but then again, so is Hugh Laurie. :p Out of curiosity, what do you make fun of SRK about? His acting, choice of character, or all of the above?
Well, to be fair, I haven't watched too many movies with Saif. The one I do remember watching is Salaam Namaste, but I hated the movie so much that I guess I just sort of disliked him in general. But I do think he and Preity Zinta have great on-screen chemistry!
Haha, yeah, I've lost touch with the Tamora Pierce fandom for a while. (I was Gina on the dove, but I don't know if you remember me because I wasn't only seriously active for a few months back in ... 05? Holy crow has it really been that long?!) Though, I'm glad to see that treanz has practically revived the fandom with Goldenlake! And Terrier has been on my list for a while now

Okay, so I am all about sighing over inappropriately-older-men (including dead ones) so although I think the age difference between Deepika and SRK in OSO is ... noteworthy, it doesn't really bother me (except for what it says about the position of women, in which case it bothers me in Western movies and HK cinema and and and...) . But he is SUCH a dork! He is lovable, but a dork. So I can't take him seriously? He either works in a movie or he doesn't, because his persona is so awfully specific. I feel like sometimes movies have to work around that? I did love him in Veer-Zaara, speaking of Preity.
OH, have you SEEN Kya Kehna?! It is ridiculous. Saif basically plays Jordan Catalano. Preity plays an unwed teenage mother (guess whose fault that is). There's a hilarious use of "Billie Jean." Saif has his horrible 90s haircut. OH, god. Thankfully, Dil Chahta Hai is not far off! But man, his career was so hilariously terribleI've been kind of out of touch with all fandom, without the excellent excuse of school. But I look forward to your

My life is kind of weird and busy right now too, so I think it's good that it's only a semi-hiatus . . .
