these pretzels are makin' me thirsty
rob called me today and left a message. he wants to hang out with me. i wasn't expecting his call. i don't expect too much from him. he's been real flakey these past few months. i don't know how i'm supposed to feel about seeing him, since i hardly talk to him that much these days. i've never been able to maintain good relationships with ex's.

i've been working a lot lately on trying to get pictures together for my portfolio. by next week i should have at least four good pictures to add to my book. my friend in burbank took pictures of me the other day with his camera. i hope they come out decent. my friend, gretchen, who's a striving model and has been helping me with this whole process, is going to take pictures of me this weekend. she has a photo project that she needs me for, so it looks like a win-win deal if all goes according to plan.
i'm going camping next week for four days-ish with sarah and her two friends, diane and hunter. initially the plan was to go to sacoya. sacoia? but we thought, HEY why not save some money and gas and go camping on my dad's property in ojai. my dad owns a little chunk of land in the matilija canyon up there. there's a great little nook of a neighborhood in the mountains with creeks to swim in and rocks to climb. the only bummer is that it's fire season up there, which means that we can't really have a campfire. maybe a chance of a teeny tiny one, but even that is risky. we'll figure something out i hope. i want s'mores!
