i went thrifting with officemates yesterday. very happy with my new stash of dresses, most of them long and flowy and vintage. this one's brand new though, still with the tags on. it's a ruffly linen number from French Connection in "rice pudding" that i got at 95% off :)

Early Saturday morning, Meg and I drove to Manila to go to Bambang. It's only my second time in this part of Manila but we easily found the way, found parking, and we had time to have breakfast at Red Ribbon before we attacked the market: our "secret source" for designer clothes, quirky clothes, great stuff for cheap.

Found a heart sweater I really liked but held off; got stuff for friends instead - H&M was TINY relative to other places but didn't fail.

Well, okay, got myself some stuff, too - shorts, to be specific, that according to Dar look great on me but frumpy on her. Must be my man-legs.

when summer began, i switched to a floral bag. i don't particularly like the print, but three things i love: the color, that it's the perfect size for my daily stuff, and that it was given by my old boss, the same old boss who used to give me her copies of Lucky and Vogue once she'd read them; i think of her a little every time i use it.
