met with the owner of Suelas today. her dainty shoes made me think of pretty girls on bikes, face to face with my manly ones. i hope we get to do things together! i have plenty of ideas. :)
my current favorite people happened to drop in after the meeting. we joke that when we're together we always have to be dressed for a yacht party, and our shoes always seem to play the part.
dropped by UP to get my alumni ID but the line was too long and I decided I'll just come back another day. got a coke at Chocolate Kiss and this cake was sitting pretty below the cashier, I just had to get away as fast as possible. i swear it was beaming at me. i have a crush on this beautiful cake.
At the office, Dar made me coffee using the new CBTL system, and it's possibly the most fantastic homemade cup of coffee i've ever had. It's bolder than what I'm used to, but it didn't have the acidity that I usually get when I brew my own cup. Perfect pour, one press, I wish I could get one "for my dad". I can take my coffee black forever if I had this machine.
Had an hour to spend with old workmates before heading home. It's always good vibes when I'm them. :) I'm glad it's one of those things that hasn't changed.
I was thinking about how these days when I do ask for something, I always end up asking that I hope I have fun, I hope I enjoy myself in whatever I have to do. It seems to be a good thing to ask for because so far, it's a wish always granted and that's enough to keep me in a grateful state of mind.
And I will end this post by saying that dry shampoo is dual purpose - it's the secret to getting rid not just of oily hair, but also of the day's stench. Try it. :)
