i haven't gone to SM in a long time! yesterday's trip was a success.
i needed some transition clothes, thanks to a gay friend who pointed it out.
i got a serviceable short black skirt (can you believe, now i have a total of THREE skirts in my closet!)
a serviceable turuqoise shift and a printed sundress all for a little more than a thousand pesos :)
they've really got it all for you!
what is the difference between a supermarket and a hypermart?
i used to think a hypermart is a level up from a regular grocery, and that it stands alone,
preferably near a major thoroughfare
and it happens to have a bunch of little shops sprouted around it.
was surprised to see a new hypermart inside SM.
nonetheless, i was very satisfied with their produce.
i love grocery shopping.
it is not Trader Joe's or Whole Foods level,
but very nice to see that they're also making an effort here.
hi
fakethebooks! yes you're right, talong is eggplant, and i miss it so.
it' not part of the detox regimen.
there's this french couple who make yummy eggplant parmigiana at Salcedo Market.
i miss it so.
not sure if you can tell in this photo, the eggplant on the left was almost black, and it's not a bad thing.
there is something comforting about seeing stacks of egg cartons
all lined up
my sister and i got coffee
here's her peppermint mocha
praline mocha was so-so, it doesn't deserve a photo
and when we got to the car my sister said oh, it's a beautiful day
and yes
really, it was
i got home and spent the rest of the afternoon
reading in bed
drifting in and out of sleep
until the next day
it was delicious.
