Christmas!
So yeah! Mine was a total shock.
See, I'm posting this from Port aux Basques NFLD.
I flew home. And surprised the shit out of a few people :p
It was nice. Pricey...but nice. You know?
As a result, there weren't too many gifts for me this year. Which I enjoyed. Simple Christmas is a good one :D
Anyway, these are the big ones.
Yep, a 2nd gen Kindle and a Tankard O'Terror!
tydestra Has been kind enough to help me stop being a kindle n00b. Honestly? It reminds me of my iPod. Mostly in the way that in 2 years I'll need a new one that'll fix all the issues/compaints I'm having right now.
Works for me. What doesn't work is...well...I've become a terrible pirate as of late.
Not that eBooks were a speciality of mine anyway. However, mininova being converted and Demonoid just standing on it's feet again...I'm at a bit of a loss. thepiratebay.org has never been one of my prefered sites, and I'm totally unsure of how to make use of Usenet.
I...don't know how to pirate as well as I used to. The game changed and I missed a turn. *sigh* One more thing on my ever growing list of self improvement things.
Anyway, I'm flying out tomorrow. I should probably sleep, as I need to get up and pack tomorrow :S
Two more things though. Send book suggestions! I wants to READ more.
Lastly, a Korean SOMETHING. The bonus round prize will goto whoever can identify it for me!
