LJ had some downtime last night.
Makes sense that'd it happen right in the middle of when I started commenting/post making.
Now I can't seem to remember why I was comment or looking through Post Secret, or what I was gonna post here.
Well, in other news I got an email today from Microage. They have apparantly replaced my graphics card (I asked them to replace the motherboard too, but then again expecting these people to follow orders is like expecting the sun to turn pink because I asked it to.)
And honestly? I just want my computer back and I'm too tired to fight with them on this.
Although, there is no real way I can prove that they replaced it. And my warranty will probably be up by the time they get it back out to me. So, um, joy.
I'm tempted to buy an extended warranty just so I can send it back to them (Assuming it still doesn't work) and yell at them some more....but I'm just tired of it.
Why is it too much to ask that people do their jobs?
I just keep having this conversation in my head with them:
"Oh you hate your job? Well too fucking bad because that's what you choose to do! Don't like the work you do? Cry me a river and go work at Mc. Donalds or Wal-Mart. Don't punish me by not doing what you get paid to do because you don't like it."
I can understand that Toshiba only pays Microage $60 to run the diagnostic disk on my laptop, and then fix whatever the disk can find. Is it my fault that the disk can't find my problem?
Seriously, is it? I've had the same problem on two HDD's, two Operating System's, and a host of drivers. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's a hardward issue. Which is the only thing my warranty covers.
All I want is my laptop back, and in working order. Is that so much to ask? Other people with Toshiba's go years without problem. I just want a year and long enough for me to replace it.
*Sigh*
Anyway, I'll know on Tuesday whether or not it was fixed. Please God...
