So, my very short jaunt to Nova Scotia to pick up my stuff from Alberta evolved into a massive fustratingly painful mess.
The original plan? Port aux Basques to North Sydney night crossing, get my stuff in North Sydney, North Sydney to Port aux Basques day crossing, eat supper at home, pack/unpack/clean room/curse the gods for having so much stuff.
What happened? Delayed night crossing, missed the day crossing in North Sydney, our 6pm departure happened at 9pm, and every single bloody aliant/ferry wifi connection was broken. ALL OF THEM.
I finally managed to find internet in a parking lot of a library...at which point my battery dies. Which...you know, that fit very well with the rest of the trip, so it's all good.
Anyway, when I finally did get on the boat, I finished my third and final play though of Fallout3.
That's right, I'm heading back into WoW. Because it is less addicting than Fallout3.
Now what do I do? Goto bed and sleep all day....or stay up and be tired? The van still needs to be offloaded, so sleeping all day is out, but being tired and cranky all day sounds sucky. Le Grr.
That and motion sickness from the boat is sticking with me...in my bed. On my back. While not moving.
Wtf mate?
Well to be fair...the extended trip did give me a chance to get Mom some really nice stuff for Christmas. :D So that rocked.
On a final note: I'm plotting the seduction of a girl from Cape Breton, thoughts?
