Alright, so I downloaded and intsalled and updated WoW.
I haven't gotten around to actually PLAYING it because I've been kinda busy, and Alyssa'd still be pissed. Not that's going to matter in a few days.
Also, I managed to buy myself a PS3 for 17$. What can I say? It felt redicously good.
The SIXAXIS controller charges via USB port, and one day I plugged it into my computer because...well I wanted to charge it.
Then a miracle happened, Windows made it's patented "I've found new USB hardaware" sound.
Holy shit, my computer found the SIXAXIS controller.
So about 20 minutes of fiddling with drivers and programs and a generic input device profile maker...I have a SIXAXIS controller that works on my PC.
With the Profile maker, it even works as a mouse. I freakin' MOUSE.
My next thought was, of course, I'm SO playing WoW with a controller. And I did. Well, it took a few hours to get set up well enough, but it does work. Oh course, due to the massive amounts of controls and buttons for WoW, I'm thinking of only using it for a character that I'll keep around for kicks, like a mage.
However, this revelation also brought me to my second revelation. ROMS
SNES, Genesis, PSX, PS2...you name it.
So far I've played through most of my favorite SNES and PSX games, but this is fantastic. Or at least I think so.
Now, what else can I make it do...
