Yesterday's party at Jake's was a damn good time, for the most part. I mean, after all the loud/annoying people that i didnt know cleared out, it was good shit. I guess paying $20 for an $8 bottle of alcohol sucked, but it was made up for in the end. The only games i played were the russian roulette card game i made up and shoulders, the game that Dan ("Maverick") made up, which is the best fuckin game ever. I'll explain that later. I didnt get shitfaced like i thought i would, it was a mellow kinda drunk, and i loved it. Good party, good people.
Anyways, "shoulders."
Everyones got a beer. Its basically a counting game. Everyone sits at a table or in a circle. You count from 1 to 20. When you say a number, you grab a shoulder. If you grab your left shoulder, the turn goes to the person on your left, and vice versa for your right. On 5, 10, and 15, theres a point involved. On 5 you point to any random person and say 5. On 10, its a two-fingered point. on 15, its a roll of the hands and a two fingered point. mess up and you drink and it starts over. When a person gets 20, they do a dance, everyone drinks, and then that person makes up a rule. For example, someone could make the rule that instead of saying "2" you say "banana." Or, on 5 10 and 15, instead of saying the number, you do the point and say "fuck you." Confused? if so, good, thats the idea of the game. By the end of the game there are so many rules to remember that it gets real hard. Its a sick game, and i'm making it a point to play it whenever i get drunk, and you should too.
