I have recently been brought to attention a "lesson" if you will, about human beings, us mere mortals. In a way, I wish I could continue living a naive, sheltered life. But, it wasn't the way it's meant to be. I had to learn. Not everyone is going to love you back. Not everyone can be trusted. Not everyone has a gracious heart. You will be fucked over, relentlessly. People will hurt you. They only care about one person, and that person only. Themselves. For that reason, I have to shut down. No more information. If only lies can be spread about me, then what difference does it make? If I quit sharing information that is truthful to me, why does that matter to you? I'll still be around, but wiser.
