here's a quote from arista [of loraxx] explaining the reason for this benefit show...
"We're playing the Abbey Pub in September. It's a benefit for Mike Betts and every penny that comes in the door will go to Mike. Mike has cancer and no insurance, and needs the funds to pursue treatment. There are three great bands playing (and then us) and no reason for you not to go - you'll be entertained and help a good cause.
It starts early (8pm) so you can't use the it's a school night excuse. I gotta work too."
