Don't you just enjoy those moments where you run into people from class and just start rambling about so many things? I was waiting for the computer lab to open and this guy from my class saw that I had my book and then we started talking about our paper. It was kind of ironic because we were talking about the paper assignment yet at the same time we managed to go off on so many tangents. He talked about his family, his aspirations, classes he took, and so many other things. It was a good conversation, long too and the bad thing is we talked so much about everything neither of us got a lot of work done. But I enjoyed the conversation a lot and even though I don't have a lot done, the lesson you learn from these conversations is quite powerful. The issue always comes down to family obligations and finding that balance between family and school.

I still don't think I have a good grasp on writing sociologically. Right now I have lots of ideas but nothing really concrete. My goal is to have 3 pages tonight and finish the rest tomorrow.
