You have to admire Tupac Shakur. I actually think there's something in the statute books about it. Rapper, actor, bon viveur, murder victim - he was a genuine monotesticular Renaissance man and de facto poet laureate of the 'hood.
But you know in his seminal (in all senses) opus California Love, apparently the
346th best song ever, there's that lyric "California / Knows how to party"? Of course you do. Well, I didn't. Until two days ago, I thought it was the far less sensible, natural and logical "California / No sign of bodies". This is because I'm an idiot.
