Do scary movies still exist?

I've been trying to watch a scary movie for a while now but I just don't think they are out there anymore

No movie has scared me other than the Exorcist, but it doesn't even scare me anymore. Usually demonic possession or the paranormal type movies freak me out. :)

I know there's a few movies I've watched that left me thinking "WHAT THE FUCK?"

I thought The Grudge was boring. I didn't even finish watching it because I was bored to tears. Never saw the Blair Witch Project... still have no interest in seeing that. It always looked stupid to me.

sometimes the Japanese version is always scarier. The Japanese version of The Ring was rumoured to be the real thing but I haven't watched it so can't say..

I love scary movies but unfortunately my friends are always in the lovey dovey type of films so I never really get to watch them unless I rent them out..

I just recently watched this as well. It was more "what the fuck?!" than "scary" though. I'd recommend it!
