Welcome to themeslims!, a LIMS community where you decide on the photo and make an icon with the given theme.
Basic
+ Join themeslims in order to participate and watch the community to be able to receive the updates on your flist.
+ There will be a sign-ups post for each round and you must sign up at each round you want to participate before the deadline.
Challenges
+ This is a LIMS community which means that you will need to participate in each challenge until you get eliminated. You can read about skips below.
+ You will have a total of two skips per round plus one bonus skip if you manage to win two challenges in a row and only once during the round. You can use these skips to 'skip' any challenge and not participate. You will not be eliminated. When all your skips are gone, however, and you fail to enter an icon for the challenge, you will be eliminated.
+ The challenges will be posted on Mondays for a deadline by Friday.
+ You may submit only one icon per challenge.
+ Icon must be 100x100 or smaller and be able to fit LJ standards. Also, all icons must be still (no animations) unless otherwise stated.
+ Use the following textbox when submitting your icon.

+ You may change your entry as long as you delete your previous comment and stay within the deadline limit.
+ Please don't post your icons anywhere else.
+ You may not skip once there are five participants or less.
Voting
+ Everyone can vote!
+ Voting will take place during Friday night/afternoon and end on Sunday afternoons/nights.
+ You will vote for a number of least and most favorite icons.
+ You will offer critique on the icons you vote for least favorite.
+ You cannot vote or tell other people to vote for your icon.
+ If you are participating, you must vote on every challenge. Missing voting will count as using a skip.
