The Future is in the Future
The future doesn't bode well for our nation. No wonder the Obama Administration wants to take the power of the Census out of the Commerce Department. When stories like this or especially this keep popping up, I have to wonder about the sanity of such people and when the other shoe is going to drop that will make people want to vote with their feet and leave.
There's absolutely no way I could live in a community that would tax me for each mile I drove. That's fascist and totalitarian. There's simply no other way to describe it.
I know there are some predicting the breakup to the United States. I hate to play out scenarios in my mind, but the more that I see and read the more it feels that we're headed in that direction. Though I don't agree with most of the borders on his map, I think the breakup the United States' map would be along very regional lines. But what other factors would play into the dissolution of the United States? Race, wealth, weaponry? The cities would just go insane. I think the best solution is to flee and either head for the rural areas or get out of the nation altogether.
