Author’s notes:
Richard Warren looked through his desk drawer. He had to go to a job site soon, and she thought he had left his prescription sunglasses in this drawer.
He carefully pulled out the desk drawer, and set it next to his computer tower. Then, he proceeded to pull everything out of the drawer and stack it on the desk. It was filled with manila envelopes, a box of pens, a box of paper clips, some blue prints rolled up neatly and held closed with rubber bands. He didn’t see his eye glass case anywhere.
He placed everything back in the drawer, and slides the drawer back into its slot. He almost caught his finger as he did so. He leaned back in his chair, trying to remember where the last place was he saw them.
Richard hit his forehead with his palm, he had put them in his briefcase pocket , so he wouldn’t forget them. Idiot, he thought to himself.
