The Harvest was impending, and Angel should be looking for the slayer. He knew from various sources that tonight was her first night in town.
He had followed her here from L.A. He wasn’t sure why though; Sunnydale didn’t seem like the most happening place. He wanted to warn her about the harvest, since he wasn’t a big fan of chaos and destruction. He figured there were other ways to spend the next few millenniums.
To Angel the air seemed to have an ominous feeling, but no mortal seemed to be feeling it. Angel was a few blocks from where the slayer lived, when he was temporary distracted. He saw a red haired girl wearing brown knee high socks, a dress with tiny white flowers, and a brown sweater. Something about her intrigued him.
He had an instinctual urging to both protect her from impending doom, and to spend eternity with her. Hell they didn’t even have to talk, they could spend the time in the same room reading books, and she seemed like the type who liked books. He could just start at her quiet beauty, letting her brown eyes speak volumes.
Angel forced him to blink hard, it helped him get re-focused. Maybe after he warned the slayer of the Harvest, he would have time to spend with the beauty.
