Mia Dickerson stayed away from the break room, as she walked through the halls of the lab. Someone had a birthday today, and there was a cake sitting in there.

It wasn’t that she was on a diet or anything that she was avoiding the cake; it was because she knew that someone had put candles in the cake. That meant there was DNA all over the cake from when they blew out the little flames on the top of the candles.

For her to sit in the break room, and try to ignore the cake, would be like someone else sitting in a pile of garbage. There was no way she could do that, without being driven slowly insane. So, there was no way she was going near the break room today.
