Man, a little self-control would go a long way. Guiltily procrastinating makes me no (a lot less?) happier than diligent working, nor does it get me anywhere. Akrasia is totally the best word ever. Its constant applicability is a little scary. I'd like to dismiss my recurring dilemma as a university theme, but I've met a number of people lately who really don't subscribe to it.
Including the boy! In approaching it with the zeal and cheek of a 13-year-old girl, I've found something pretty excellent. The gradual reveal of his qualities is thrilling and damnit, it's just so warm and pleasant. Squee.
