Ummm Weeds is awesome you should not be ashamed of that. Or Hairspray. However you should be very ashamed of liking Music and Lyrics and Sex in the City.
Why, thank you. I'm only a few years and a short move away. Of course, I'm assuming you're referring to my reading list, and not my list of shame. How's motherhood? I'm drawing a blank on the name and age. Under a year, yes? My first niece is almost one, and is soon to be traveling to Germany with her parents and myself. I'm excited (I say that now. Maybe not so much with the screaming and the crying).
Well, actually, both. I love the stories, and would be proud to have little Samuel be a part of them.
Well under a year - we're two days shy of two week old! So, motherhood is extremely new. I've quickly become immune to poop and pee, and am adjusting to waking in the middle of the night (slowly)...
That's it!?! Goodness, I have no sense of time. I mean, the whole pregnancy lasts, what, 4-6 weeks, max? (I really hope people don't take that at face value)
I like the name. I've likewise had to become at least marginally immune to poop, pee, and throwing up. I'm better with the latter than the former. I've had two students this year who haven't been, ah, trained in certain areas. This is not an area that I was brave enough to tackle by myself. Thank goodness for nurses and mothers who work at your same school.
The waking up in the middle of the night part seems like it would be the hardest to adapt to. Well, then again, I've never yet had to change a diaper...
Did you finish classes? Or are you taking a break?

I really have no defense to sex in the city. My roommate went through a kick, and I got sucked in.
