Felt
Thanks for all of the responses on what color you think of when you think of a piece of felt.
My explanation for asking is this. I always, always think of green.
I don't know why. It's in my hardwiring. I can't find the point of origin. I have thought about it, searching way back into my memory. I just can't figure out why. I figured there had to be something, like "Back in the 70's, Chez explored texture and color while making the bathroom into an arts and crafts project." We had some great almost-neon, but no quite vinyl-ish wallpaper in the bathroom but alas, no green felt.
So in asking my question, I really expected to find out that everyone was hardwired to think of green felt. After a day of answers (and no one responding "GREEN"), I guess I have a new question....
