i have to write an essay. this essay is a chance to win 40,000 for college at king's. i figure, there are only a few (relatively speaking) people accepted to the school, and there are 6 winners. i want to major in english. my odds are good. also, my admissions counselor encouraged me to apply for it.
the question is this. You have an opportunity to choose any influential person in history (except J.C) to be your guest. Who would you choose? WHy would you choose this individual? How have they contributed to the history of the world? how does what they believe or what they have done compare or contrast to a biblical worldview?
i want to do someone different. very different. someone who changed history but is not as highly recognized. i am willing to slave over this paper. my first thought was bob dylan, but mom disagreed.
any suggestions?
