VW in the house!
FIRST:
The 1974 VW beetle that my parents bought from my maternal grandmother fifteen years ago might actually be fixed up by my dad and me soon! It sat in my grandmother's driveway for several years. Then it sat in MY parents' driveway for several years. And then it ended up on the lawn of a friend of my dad's for several years. While digging through some old photos from high school I found this picture of it. I promptly called up my dad and asked him if it was still living at his friends house. AND, I asked him if we could get it hauled back to their house so that we can work on it. Sure enough, it's still at his friend's house AND he's going to have it hauled back to their house so that we can get it running again!!! Isn't that exciting!?!
SECOND:
It just so happens that one of the doctors at work is a VW aficionado. In the last 22 years, he's had FOUR different bug. Here's the coolest LOOKING one of all four. . .
