I really enjoyed 11.09, but one thing that did bug me was that I felt we needed a sense of urgency as to why Sam had to go to the cage now, and without Dean. Your answer phone message from Sam solved this issue, and you did it so neatly with the lunar cycle. Thank you!

Seeing Dean struggle with his relainship with Sam, and what happened while he had the Mark was pitched perfectly. I love the idea that in his mind, one day, he would apologise and Sam would accept and they'd move on from the hammer and the scythe.

The Christmas presents were an emotional punch in the gut, and I love the title. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with Sam and the cage. Seasons greeting. Take care, :)

Yes, that thing about the urgency bugged me too. Maybe there was a line that got cut?

I am certainly waiting for Dean to apologise to Sam so I guess I was trying to rationalise the way that he has actually been behaving. Dean's not great at dealing with shame so I think this is more or less plausible - and I'm glad you agree.

The Christmas presents were the premise for the whole fic! Can't have a SPN Christmas without a little angst. And seasons greetings right back atcha, have a lovely festive season!

Dean and his regrets.....and this is where things have gotten them. What a tragic Christmas story. Dean with proof of his brothers love, since

Sam does not like the whole Christmas thing.From back when they did the last Christmas together before, Dean went to hell.But still for Dean he did it anyway,with presents and decorations, Because he loves him.

This is also part of the reason why he went to talk to Lucifer, to help get Amara away from Dean. Since he thinks releasing the darkness is all his fault.
Can't wait until you write the cage with Sam back in it. And with maybe Dean finding out Sam is not just in hell, but back in the cage. Oh my.....
