So there we have it. Friends page is basically being destroyed. And we could say "it's in beta, they might not do it," but that's a lie, they don't listen when the users beg them not to change something. It's just not going to happen.
So here's the deal, from my perspective. I barely use LJ anymore, sad, but true. I'm primarily on tumblr these days. I have a dreamwidth account as well that I am currently updating on all of my posts here. I'm closing out the tab on my friends page and turning off my add-on that notifies me of new posts.
IF YOU HAVE TUMBLR OR DREAMWIDTH AND ARE NOT ALREADY FRIENDS WITH ME ON THOSE SITES, PLEASE LET ME KNOW/ADD ME!
