Obligatory Christmas post, whut?
HAPPY CHRISTMAS, FLIST!
We went to Midnight Mass last night. Which was strangely a bit hilarious. We sat on the FRONT ROW and my entire family still can't resist the urge to crack jokes or just make amusing comments oh, the whole time. Midnight Mass at the church I grew up at is really just gorgeous. They have the full choir PLUS a brass band or something up in the choir loft and it's just so pretty, bringing in Christmas.
Though of course I was the idiot in stilettos whose legs seized up the entire fucking time. Seriously. It's a miracle I didn't FALL OVER.
Anyhow.
I GOT SO MUCH COOKING STUFF! *___* Amazing BOWLS and MEASURING CUPS [solids AND liquids, zomg, LIQUID MEASURING CUPS *___*] and silicon muffin cups so I don't have to use the pan and a little flipbook of DESSERT RECIPES with extra card space to write in my own and the most awesome cajun cookbook ever. OH! And a set of wine glasses! Reds, whites, and the generic giant glasses. I WILL BE COOKING, TO SAY THE LEAST.
And Yeats. *___* Collected poems and collected plays. New coat and hats and scarves!
The vast majority of my presents were food related. Ahahahahha. No techno gadgets, just KITCHEN gadgets.
