funny that this is so disused the first page goes back an entire year.

well, i don't write about myself anyways, in books or anytime.

yet i can't let go of this old red thing.

it's got a lot a-me in it, no?

woo currz.

me.

-Well, some day, I will not be writing a book about all the stuff that's in here, and then this will truly be useless.

holy shit.

what if i told you that themazz kept her (yes, her) livejournal open and actually checks it every now and then "for research," because she became a musician and cartoonist (not like, a successful one, but one, at least), and keeps writing songs and comics about "people living in 2003-2006," and so keeps looking at old livejournal posts "to get the texture right." but also is still romantically beholden to "the past" and ~is~ someone who would have the genuine thought "what happened to Mez?"

all of that is true. i haven't been any form of "mazz" for years. i stayed in chicago and had an entire ass life, until 2018, when moved back to albuquerque, had a lot of really bad times there so i left in 2021, and went back to chicago, where i'm leaving again next year because this city is mean and i don't need to live here anymore. that's probably the shortest i could possibly get it down (for more information visit "http://anniefish.net" (lmao)). but you know, i'm always open to expanding on my lore.

so then here it is, i get to ask it- "what happened to Mez?" (in fact i was asking it to myself last night because i was listening to "sad peter pan" and remembered that you sent it to me on AIM and i thiiiink that's how we became livejournal friends in the first place?) is mez still mez? where have you been? lord, we're adults now, that's so weird (maybe it's not even true, i don't know). i'm sorry you're sick! ancient livejournal excavation can be a balm, though in my experience a dangerous one, so i would take breaks and drink lots of water.

i'll start there... i'm sure you did not assume i would reply (or maybe you did, in that case, i'm glad i did), so hello.

hello hello.
