1) What exactly are your political beliefs, and how did you arrive at them? 2) How come when you are called a jerk, you respond in a jerk-like fashion instead of trying to prove your insultor wrong? (This is not to be construed as an insult, I'm actually curious about your thought process.) 3) What do you envy about your friends? 4) Favorite song? 5) If your house burned down and you could only save one non-living item, what would it be?
1. Moderate. More conservative on spending, national security and big government, more liberal on things like civil rights and the environment. I was raised pretty conservative, but the ignorance and apathy of the right and the sheer arrogance and impracticality of the left keep me from committing to either side. 2. I think it mostly comes from me being thin-skinned and not thinking before I come back with stuff. I think I've been pretty good about it lately though. 3. Intelligence. Some of my closest friends are much smarter than me. 4. Sgt.pepper's (including the reprise) and Something by The Beatles. Sgt. Pepper's (the album) is easily my all time favorite album. 5. Probably my sketchbook(s) that I've taken to cons and Abu, the stuffed animal that never left my side as a wee un. Everything else can ultimately be replaced.
1. Do you enjoy acting? Is it something you care to pursue? 2. Do you know that by going to "Reply to this" on the bottom of peoples' comments, your comment will be nested in theirs? 3. When you're mountain climbing, what moves do you have to defend yourself?
1. Return of the king: especially the end, but the scene where Gandalf talks about what death is like is really powerful. Great movie. 2. Big Fish: again, the end. Specifically the way the father "dies". 3. War of the Worlds: All the 9/11 imagery. 4. Cloverfield: I'm probably the only one, but the ending really got to me. Also, 9/11 imagery. 5. Of Mice and Men: the scene where dog dies made me WEEP. And Lenny's death, of course.
1. I really enjoy acting and it's something I'd pursue, just not as a career. I don't have the kind of dedication or, frankly, talent to make money off it. I think thats why I like Improv so much, it's like this nice happy medium between legit acting and just saying funny random shit. 2. I think the placement of this response speaks for itself. 3. The only move left to me would be, according to Dr. Genard Facente, to cinch the throat. Or sweep the leg.
1. I wanna be a writer. What I write...I do not know. 2. Fictional: Superman. He's probably had more of an impact on my life than any "real" person. Real: Abe Lincoln. The Gettysburg Address is probably my favorite speech. 3. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?
