Character name: Judas
Fandom: Tales of Destiny 2
Timeline: Endgame
Age: 17
~*Magical*~ abilities and strengths: Judas is a skilled swordsman who uses both physical prowess and spells to aid him in battle. Quick and agile, he wields a sword in his right hand and a dagger in his off, and is able to use powerful Earth and Light spells against his enemies.
How would they use their abilities?: Judas would use his abilities to help those in combat, although his personal view on the situation at hand and the people involved would be a factor in whether or not he actually decides to help others. Consequently, if he is persuaded or coerced in the right way, one might be able to convince Judas to participate in activities he normally wouldn’t do on his own.
Appearance: Judas is a somewhat short, thin young man with pale skin, dark hair, and violet eyes. He wears matching black/deep purple pants and long-sleeved shirt, both of which have a silvery flame design embroidered on his left pant leg and both sleeves. The sleeves split from the elbow to the cuff to reveal pale lilac frills. A silver-coloured cross is embroidered on his chest, and a long, deep purple cape billows from behind. His sword and dagger are hung from a white belt, and the whole outfit is topped with a skull mask. Made from a dragon’s cranium, the mask covered his face and part of his head, and has two blue feathers attached to the end of it.

http://www.tales-central.com/picturegallery/destiny2pictures/images/judasripped_01.png Background/Personality: Judas is the reincarnated form of Leon Magnus from Tales of Destiny, who was killed 18 years prior to Judas’ resurrection. 18 years after his death, Judas is resurrected by Elraine, the Holy Woman of the Order of Atamoni. Seeing herself as an extention of the goddess Fortuna, she resurrected him in the hopes that he would help her rewrite history to her preference, making herself a central figure of worship. Not agreeing with her ambitions, Judas refuses and she banishes him to the world. Judas spends much time wandering the world, during which time he learns of the fate of his former allies; Stahn, Rutee, Philia, and Woodrow's tale has been marked in history and the four have been hailed as heroes. Leon has been marked as well, though he is now known as a traitor for siding with Hugo (one of the antagonists of the original Tales of Destiny). Judas eventually winds up in a prison cell in Darelsheid (the conditions for this imprisonment are never revealed), where he meets Kyle and Loni Dunamis, the former of which is Stahn and Rutee’s son. Upon hearing how Loni and Kyle wish to set off on a journey to become a hero, he laughs and proceeds to lecture Kyle on what it takes to be a true hero. He then helps both of them escape from the prison, and during the escape Kyle gives him the name Judas (since Judas failed to give him his real name, telling him to "Call me whatever you wish"). Kyle asks Judas to accompany him, but Judas declines. Unable to fully trust himself with being with his former fellow warrior's son, he leaves Loni and Kyle shortly after the escape and wanders the world some more. Later in the Straylize Temple, Judas reappears to help save Kyle and Philia from Barbatos Goetia, another man revived by Elraine to help her rewrite history. Kyle once again asks Judas to join him on his quest. This time Judas agrees to accompany him, wishing his protecting Kyle could be a means to atone for his betrayal of Stahn and his allies.
As their adventure continues, the group confronts Elraine and discover her true intentions to alter history to her liking. Judas knew her intentions, though he chose to remain silent about it. Elraine not only reveals her own intentions, but also reveals Judas’ true identity as Leon Magnus, the Traitor of the Five Heroes. Judas confirms this to the group, and Elraine sends the party to their separate dream worlds to prevent them from interfering with her plans. In Judas’ dream world, he is returned to the moment where Elraine revives him and asks him to join her. He refuses over and over, endlessly repeating the scene until Kyle’s group, awakened from their dream worlds by Reala, comes to intervene. Enraged, Elraine asks Kyle why he would trust a traitor like Leon Magnus. What surprises Judas the most is when Loni, the one who had trusted Judas the least, declares that they don’t know any Leon Magnus and are here to save their friend Judas. They escape from Elraine, and the group, re-accepting Judas into their midst, set forward to set the timeline back in order.
Their time-travelling adventure soon brings them to Dycroft, after Stahn and the other Four Heroes defeat Kronos (the main antagonist of Tales of Destiny 2). The Four Heroes had plunged their Swordians, sentient swords possessing the souls of former warriors and wielding great elemental power, into the Eye of Atamoni (a huge and powerful relic capable of immense destruction) after the final battle in an attempt to suppress its power. However, the four Swordians weren’t enough to fully contain the Eye’s power. Judas realizes that he must part with Chaltier, his Swordian, by stabbing it into the Eye and finishing the deed attempted by Stahn and the others. He is about to, but the group is confronted by Barbatos for one final battle. They fight, and upon defeat Barbatos, not wanting to admit defeat by the group, throws himself onto the Eye of Atamoni and kills himself. With Barbatos dead, Judas has one last exchange with Chaltier, who comments that Judas isn’t like his former self anymore. Judas agrees, apologizes to Chaltier, and stabs him into the Eye, destroying it and the Swordians.
After this, the group is transported once more, appearing back in the present and confronting Elraine. Upon her defeat and erasure form existence, history begins to repair itself to the way it once was. Judas begins to disappear along with everyone else, and he wonders whether he will be rejected by time or return to die under the name Leon Magnus. He states that whatever happens, he will never forget the bond he’s formed with Kyle. He disappears, his fate unknown. It is assumed he died again as Leon Magnus.
Judas is usually a calm and quiet individual, choosing to sit out of a conversation unless directly addressed or if it concerns something important to him (in the latter case, he is often rather touchy about it). He often exhibits a cold exterior, appearing impatient, demanding, and even indifferent when confronted by others. He has a serious nature, and he handles various situations he faces with a practical mind. He has little tolerance for people he deems incompetent, yet despite that he is often left as a reluctant guardian to those very people. He does try to make an effort in looking out for others (at least by giving them required information and making sure they stay out of trouble) but because of his nature he often ends up having a difficult time with dealing with said individual, which may result in an awkward situation and a very annoyed Judas. When annoyed, he will raise his voice, insult people, and demand that the individual cease their actions or leave him alone, or he will try to leave himself if he isn’t calmed down.

1st person sample:
[The video feed opens up, revealing a young man on the screen. He has short black hair and deep purple eyes, but much of his facial features are obscured by an intimidating skull mask. He appears very calm as he begins speaking in a professional manner.]
Good day residents of the S.S.Thor. I would like to introduce myself as a new resident aboard the ship. For those who must know, my name is Judas, and I’m a swordsman.
If anyone needs assistance with any work, feel free to contact me.
That is all.
[Not finding need to say any more, he ends the feed there.]
3rd person sample: The commotion and hustle of workers walking through the ship are both very similar and vastly different from what Judas was used to. The busy workings of people coming and going about their daily routines were oddly nostalgic to him, like the people from Darilsheid or any other city he knew. Still, the technology used here simply boggled his mind; it was nothing like the machinery he was used to, though he could see that some of the functions were similar to the machines back home. And those strange Vogons…well, he wasn’t even going to question the Vogons. Nobody else seemed to care about asking about them, or they were so used to seeing the strange creatures that they simply accepted their presence like a deadly forest on the outskirts of town.
And that was another thing that struck Judas; so many people were here, all different. He assumed they were all in the same predicament of his own, refugees from the destruction of their own worlds. He wondered if any of them knew how their own world had been destroyed, since he had no idea how his own had been destroyed. All he knew was that it was gone, and right now he was alone with strange new people. His own appearance was hardly out of the ordinary compared to some of the other residents here, a fact that Judas was a little grateful for. Some people would still stop and stare at his mask, but not as often as they had back on his own planet.
”Excuse me, sir. Here are your things.” the Vogon before him said, handing him a strange device and a towel. Judas accepted them wordlessly, before he was whisked away so the Vogon could help another refugee. Judas let out a small sigh; he didn’t know how his life on this ship would be, but at least he had been spared the destruction of his own world. Perhaps here, he could learn the secrets of why and how that event happened, and how he could restore it if he could.
